I am a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Management: Fashion Development and Product Management. My degree can be described as half business and half design with a background in textile science.
Before college, I worked in a sewing store in my hometown that helped grow my knowledge of construction and craftsmanship in what I produce. Since then I’ve worked as a bridal stylist helping my brides find their perfect assumable for the most memorable day of their lives. I was also a TA in the fashion studio at NCSU assisting students with any sewing or machine questions.
I have completed two internships in interior design and custom suiting, which strengthened my understanding of materials, tailoring, and the intricacies of design. These opportunities have shaped my approach to creating thoughtful and detail-oriented work. Since graduating this December I’m excited to bring this perspective to a future role in product development or design.
